Today we get to feature our lovely friend Emily! We have both known her since our high school days. These days she lives in Los Angeles and works as a makeup artist, which means whenever we see her she gets us all dolled up and looking beautiful! And being a makeup artist also means that she wears a lot of black. It’s basically a staple in her industry, and was hard to find something in her closet that was not black. Although, she did have a small section with an array of color hidden in the back, so that’s where I went! This little floral number was the perfect way to get her into some color. The brightness of the flowers really made her blue eyes and blonde hair pop. She looked fabulous!
Do you ever get in a color rut or have to wear a certain color or style for work? I know I always tend to go to gray. I could dress a whole football team in my gray shirts. It’s easy to do, and if you have a go to color that works for you, you tend to always buy that color. But it’s fun once in awhile to mix it up and go for something bolder or brighter, just for a change in pace!
